Get Your Kid Dressed - Ground Work

Laying the Groundwork

Make it a policy to get your child dressed first thing—before you even leave her room in the morning.

Let your child pick the clothes for the day—with guidance, of course. This will invest her in the process.

Buy shirts that are easy to put on—tops that button up or have wide collars. These will help you avoid having to pull a tight shirt over her head.

Make sure the clothes fit your kid. Clothing that is too small is never comfortable.
